CANFEN HiSEC SR1 (A1) 358 LPS 1175 Fencing
Overview
Our 358 ‘anti-climb’ fencing system, CANFEN 358 offers a guaranteed minimum delay against forced entry thanks to its certification to A1 (SR1) from both LPS 1175 and. Manufactured from 4mm vertical and horizontal wires at mesh apertures of 76.2 x 12.7mm it helps prevent climbing due to the reduced mesh size.
With overlapping panels and stainless steel through fixings, maximum post centres are 2440mm. A 80 x 5mm clamp bar keeps the fencing safe and secure once installed. Additional hostile and non-hostile security toppings can be incorporated into the final fence line to further prevent scaling.

Finish
All Binns Canada posts/panels/gates and painted auxiliary components (for example, clamp-bars, slide bolts etc.) benefit from a protective zinc layer and electrostatically applied polyester powder coating to BS 1722-16. Care is taken with pre-treatment to ensure sound adhesion between the zinc and paint layers. In a UK CI environment, as defined in ISO 12944-2, this should ensure a useful life expectancy of the fence of at least 15-20 years. Life expectancy in all environments can be extended by maintaining the fencing with regular washing. Useful life will be reduced if the fencing is damaged. Any coating damage should be repaired to reduce the effect on useful life.
Enhanced painting systems such as marine coatings are also available for improved life expectancy in C2-C5M environments.
Sloping Ground
Panels can be stepped as required. Where gradients exceed 1:16, it is recommended that taller panels are either part-buried, cut on-site, or additional posts are used.
