Anti-Climb Fencing

Fence Line — Gates

3 systems in the Fence Line — Gates range.

A perimeter is only as strong as its gates

Every opening in a rated fence line is a decision point. A gate that doesn't hold the same standard as the mesh on either side of it becomes the weak point an intruder looks for first — which is why a security specification that stops at the fence and leaves the gates unrated has a gap built into it. Binns Canada supplies pedestrian and vehicle gates certified to the same LPS 1175 ratings as our CANFEN anti-climb fencing, so the certified delay runs unbroken from panel to hinge.

Match the gate to the fence line

The three gate systems in this range mirror the CANFEN mesh systems they hang beside, so you can specify a matched line at a single security level:

  • CANFEN 358 A1 (SR1) Gates and CANFEN 868 Twin-Wire A1 (SR1) Gates carry LPS 1175 A1 (SR1) — the level most general high-security perimeters specify: utilities, transit, municipal and commercial sites.
  • CANFEN UltraGuard B3 (SR2) Gates step up to LPS 1175 B3 (SR2) for higher-risk compounds — data, energy and critical infrastructure that need a longer certified delay at the entrance.

Specify the gate at the same SR-level as the fence and the tested minimum delay carries across the whole perimeter, entrances included.

Specifying a fence-line gate

Tell us the fence system you're running, the SR-rating you're specifying to, the clear opening width, and the traffic type — pedestrian, single-leaf swing, double-leaf swing or sliding. We'll match a certified gate to the line and return drawings and a quote. Gates ship in kit form for straightforward site installation, and pair with the coatings and toppings specified elsewhere in the CANFEN range.
