CANFEN ARMAWEAVE Fencing

01Overview

Woven from high tensile 4mm steel wire, CANFEN WOVEN is the first woven fencing system to be certified as ‘Approved for UK Government Use.’ Featuring woven apertures of only 17 x 17mm, CANFEN WOVEN has the ability to self rake to follow the contours of the site.

The unique raking abilities of the system make it much easier to install on-site. Raking the panels on-site reduces the need for specially fabricated panels and pre-measuring of angles on site which reduces the overall cost for installation and material. CANFEN WOVEN should be buried 300mm in soft ground or can be installed flush to hard ground.

All Binns Canada posts/panels/gates and auxiliary components (for example, clamp-bars, slide bolts etc.), benefit from a protective zinc layer and electrostatically applied polyester powder coating to BS 1722-16. Care is taken with pre-treatment to ensure sound adhesion between the zinc and the ArmaWeave. In a UK CI environment, as defined in ISO 12944-2, this should ensure a useful life expectancy of the fence of at least 15-20 years. Life expectancy in all environments can be extended by maintaining the fencing with regular washing. Useful life will be reduced if the fencing is damaged. Any coating damage should be repaired to reduce the effect on useful life.
