Hostile Vehicle Mitigation Systems

Fence-Line HVM Systems

4 systems in the Fence-Line HVM Systems range.

Hostile vehicle mitigation, built into the fence line

Hostile vehicle mitigation doesn't have to read as a fortress. Fence-line HVM systems build crash-rated vehicle protection into the perimeter fence itself, so a site gets impact-tested stopping power without a separate line of bollards or blockers dominating the boundary. For public-realm frontages, stadiums, campuses and mixed-use sites, that means a perimeter that mitigates a vehicle-borne threat while still looking like a fence.

Crash-rated to international HVM standards

The Springline range is impact-tested and rated against the recognized hostile-vehicle standards:

  • Springline 30 — rated to PAS 68.
  • Springline 50 and Surface Mount Springline 50 — rated to IWA 14-1.
  • The surface-mount variants install without deep foundations — the option to specify on slab, podium decks, or sites where shallow services rule out a deep footing.

These are the systems to specify when the threat assessment includes a vehicle attack but the site still calls for a perimeter fence rather than a standalone barrier line.

Foundations, ground conditions and combining systems

Foundation-mounted Springline suits new-build perimeters where excavation is straightforward; surface-mount suits retrofit, decks and constrained ground. Fence-line HVM is routinely combined with rated pedestrian and vehicle gates at the entry points and with anti-climb mesh along the rest of the line, so a single perimeter answers both the forced-entry and the vehicle threat.

Specifying fence-line HVM

Send us the site plan, the vehicle threat you're designing against (the standard and, where known, the rating class), the ground conditions, and whether you need matched gates at the crossings. We'll recommend a Springline configuration and return a specification and quote.

Need this specified for a live project?

Send us the site details and the rating you have to meet.
